The reporter learned from State Taxation Administration of The People’s Republic of China on the 18th that the data of VAT invoice showed that the average daily sales revenue of service consumption-related industries in China increased by 52.3% year-on-year, the consumption of tourism, accommodation and catering services increased rapidly, and the consumption of cultural and sports services increased.
-consumption of tourism services has increased substantially. During the Spring Festival holiday, driven by the fiery tourism market, the average daily sales revenue of travel agencies and related services increased by 1.2 times year-on-year, and the average daily sales revenue of tourism and leisure services increased by 70% and 40% respectively.
-consumption of accommodation and catering services maintained rapid growth. During the Spring Festival holiday, driven by the demand for returning home and traveling during the Spring Festival, the average daily sales revenue of accommodation services increased by 25.4% year-on-year, and the average daily sales revenue of catering services increased by 31.5% year-on-year.
-The popularity of cultural and sports services has increased. During the Spring Festival holiday, the average daily sales revenue of cultural and artistic services increased by 86.7% year-on-year, among which the average daily sales revenue of literary creation and performance services increased by 1.1 times year-on-year. The average daily sales revenue of sports services increased by 43.2% year-on-year, among which the average daily sales revenue of sports fitness services and stadium services increased by 45.8% and 31.2% respectively.
According to the relevant person in charge of State Taxation Administration of The People’s Republic of China, during the Spring Festival holiday, local tax authorities launched the "no-closing" service for tax payment during the Spring Festival, and continued to promote "non-contact" tax payment by relying on various forms such as duty service hall, self-service tax payment and online tax payment, so as to fully protect the diversified needs of taxpayers. The tax authorities will continue to carry out the "Spring Breeze Action for Convenient Taxation" to further create a market-oriented, rule-based and international tax business environment.
